A Zamfara State Traditional Ruler, Umar Kabir Danbaba, who was arraigned before Justice Nasiru Saminu of the Kano State High Court on a one count charge of Cheating, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday July 28th, 2017, has bagged a one year jail sentence after found guilty of the charge.
The suspect who wore a sad face as he was led out of the court to prison, reportedly obtained the sum of N1,470,000 (One Million, Four Hundred and Seventy Thousand Naira )
