Vice Principal of Government Day Secondary School in Tunga-Minna Niger, in person of Malam Mohammed Kuyizhi, has been accused of impregnating a junior secondary female Student in the school.
The case reaching the state’s Child Rights Protection Agency over the pregnancy of a 16-year-old student, which the Vice Principal appeared and admitted to the sexual affair but claimed that the girl seduced him into the act.
According to source, The Director-General of the agency, Hajia Mariam Kolo, who took over the case talked about the present state of the victim to have already been taken to the hospital for medical examination. She said" we shall make sure she gets justice,”.
On quoting the victim Kolo tells the agency that the V.Principal was a very close friend to her guardian and had consistently visited their (victim’s) home. And also that the girl said that the V.P had sex with her three times in his office and was always given between N50 and N100 for her transport home, after the affair with the V.P.
The Director-General also said that the student as accusing the teacher of given some Pills after she informed him of the pregnancy, but that she threw them away, but confessed to taking the pills when given to her a second time.
The girl experienced severe pains after taking the pills, with the V.P forcing her not to inform her guardian.
Presently, Kolo said that the case would be transferred to the state Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
