This article is a personal review of the Black and Decker Space Maker Coffee Maker. This under the cabinet coffee maker was very popular on Amazon as it tries to claim it’s the best coffee maker that free’s up counter space.

My brother recently bought his first apartment, and as a big brother, I couldn’t have been more proud. I helped him inspect the place, gave him my opinion when looking at homes and even hinted what I would offer when he decided on the place he liked. While I’ve always been there as someone he could get solid advice from; I tried my best to step back and let him experience the excitement of being a first-time homeowner. The apartment he bought was in the city, close to his work and had a beautiful patio that got a lot of natural light. The concerns were space, in particular, the kitchen. This was a cozy one bedroom condo that seemed to have decent sized room space in every room except the kitchen.

As a suggestion to free up counter space, I googled and showed him a coffee maker that would hug underneath his cabinets. I remember seeing the coffee maker online, and when showed him a picture of the Black and Decker Space Maker Coffee Maker it was like he made a mental checkmark with a way to save space.

I bought it for him as a housewarming gift, and he loves it. He installed it himself with no problems, which is code for it’s super easy as he isn’t very handy. It included spacers and various length mounting screws allowing for various under cabinet situations. When I was over, I had a cup and thought it made great coffee. It’s nothing fancy, but when trying to save money not going to Starbucks every day and trying to free up counter space it’s a win-win product. What’s funny is shortly after he went out and got the counter space toaster oven too.
