8 Tips To Help You With Your Interview.

Do your research on the company you are applying to.

It doesn’t help you are applying for a job at a company you know nothing about!

The company wants you to make a difference and help grow the company, so do your research on the company and their competitors so you can have an understanding about what it is they do.

Think what makes you different from the other candidates.

Why You?

There are many people with the same qualifications that you have, so stand out of the crowd. Think about reasons why you are better than the other candidates and show it to the interviewer.

Be authentic, don’t be pretentious.

Be yourself, don’t try and be someone that you are not.

Have practical examples to demonstrate skill.

You might have to answer questions where you have to show your skill, be prepared to answer questions where you give Practical Examples e.g. When was there a time when you had conflict with someone, and how did you resolve the conflict?

Be on time.

If you are going to be late for your interview it gives the impression you are always going to be late, so stay on time.

Answer the question that is asked.

When the interviewer asks a question, pay attention and answer it with confidence and don’t go of topic. They don’t want to hear the answer to another question, they want to hear the answer to the question they asked.

Body language is very important.

Be relaxed and confident, you can tell a lot about a person by just looking at their Body Language. Sit up straight .

Ask relevant questions about the company.

When the time comes don’t say you have no questions, ask the questions you would like to know about the position and the company.
