This dining room designed by Thom Filicia is one of my favorite jobs he has ever executed. From the lighting to the spectacular wall size photo of the horses. The man is a genius and this dining room is a great example of his ability as a designer.

A few words from the man himself in regards to this dining room:

"You can push the envelope in a Dining Room — you want it to be an experience, something exciting and sexy. The way the photo is printed on glass makes the colors glow. It's beautiful and romantic and earthy. I designed the dining table — the top is reclaimed wood, and the base is metal. To me, it's like a classic reinvented. I love a round dining table, where you're all looking at each other. It's more intimate, and the conversation is better. You know, if there's one thing missing from most modern apartments, it's a really great dining space. "


I agree with him in regards to the lack of a proper dining room space in most modern apartments. How about you?
