Enough time seems to have passed since brutalist architecture for raw Concrete to be appreciated again. I wouldn't call it neo-brutalism since it has a softer, polished look that goes so well with Scandinavian wooden detailing.

I dream of a polished concrete floor or worktop yet I wouldn't ever dare to use it in my own home. Mainly because I think my friends and family would think that I've lost my mind. A less scary option is a plastered, grey wall made to look like concrete. There are even wallpapers mimicking this look.
