Hull Food Partnership Workshops Jan 2019

There are three Hull Food Partnership workshops coming up this month:

1)      For budding entrepreneurs with ideas for a Food-related business:-

Wed 16 Jan   Feeding the City  6-9pm at The Brain Jar, Trinity House Lane,  HU1 2JA (More details and booking Eventbrite)

Feeding the City is a fully funded 12 month programme that will support sustainable food start-ups across all of the UK. Successful applicants will receive bursaries, and have access to business and food expert advice and training throughout 2019. Come to our Idea-Generating Workshop to find out more and explore your ideas.

Fri 18 Jan    Hull Get Growing! Community Growing  10-4pm  HACA, 25-26 Park St. HU2 8RR   (Lunch provided, places limited. More details and booking:   Eventbrite)

Workshops run by local experts including:

  • Growing with children and families
  • Community growing basics
  • Garden practical
  • Working with volunteers
  • Horticulture as therapy

3)      Are you serious about growing food to sell? A practical guide from a local food growing entrepreneur.

Sat 19 Jan    Hull Get Growing! Grow-to-Sell 10-3pm at 161 High Street. HU1 1NQ

Practical workshop for entrepreneurs interested in growing produce to sell including:

  • Financial planning
  • Infrastructure design
  • Crop plans
  • Marketing strategy
