Cool features of UX Recipe include the ability to export, which allows you to add a project name and send estimations in CSV format by email. The app plays on a cooking metaphor where you select ingredients for your 'UX baking process', including planning, research, exploration, information architecture, design, prototyping, and testing. You can also tailor the app to your needs by adding custom values to calculate the total cost and time requirements.

UX Checklist helps simplify projects by keeping you productive and focused on what to do next. The web-based checklist segments Activities into Research, Plan, Explore, Communicate, Create, Give Feedback, Finalize, Delight, and Analyze steps. Each step has three UX activities. Each activity has a title, description, checkbox, and a 'Read more' link which leads to an article or resource that explains the activity. These articles are from trusted sources such as nngroup.com and usability.gov.

Verdict

UX Checklist is a step-by-step guide of UX activities.The site does not have a comprehensive list of UX activities, nor does it help you pick the best activities for different project types. A neat feature is that you can sign into your Google account to sync your checklist across devices. The author Andrea Soverini is working on updates to the app.

UX Assist App

UX Assist is a workflow suggestion app where you select several options to get a recommended set of activities for your product type. To use UX Assist,

select your product type. These come in four flavors: Optimum Viable Product, Minimum Viable Product, Client-based Product, and Data-driven Product.

You then choose a medium for your product: Mobile, Web, or Multi (various platforms).

The app then suggests a list of activities.

The activities are comprised of information cards and links to external resources. With more than 50 UX activities, there's plenty to learn in this app: you can use the templates or add new activities to make custom workflows, set due dates, mark activities as done, and delete activities.

It is unique among other apps for grouping UX activities into 12 exclusive workflows, according to the project you are working on, such as client-based products, optimum viable product, data-driven product, and a minimum viable product.

The app gives every product a unique UX design life-cycle. UX Assist gives you action-based recommendations for every product and creates workflows based on product and business needs.
