When asked if she liked him, Kate mentioned an incident where Davido failed to welcome her, leaving her feeling mistreated.

Despite this, she stated that she had no personal difficulties with him and praised his generosity, especially philanthropic gestures such as donating money received on his birthday to orphanages. Kate also lauded his performance in the film Coming to America.
