Jehane-Marie Paris was (born on June 14th, 1992), in Coconut Grove, Miami, Florida. Her father, Ricardo Paris, worked at Vortex Freediving and formerly served in strategic planning at HBO Latinoamerica.

Moreover, Gigi’s dad also worked as a fisheries extension administrator at the Peace Corps. Gigi was raised in a well-settled family. Her mother, Beatrix Paris, is a Professor at Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science.

She grew up with her brother Etienne Paris, a professor at the University of Miami’s Rosenstial School and a freediver and biological oceanographer.

Career

Gigi Paris spent most of her childhood in her grandmother’s place, where she developed an interest in modeling. At 13, she was asked to model for a renowned designer’s upcoming fashion show in New York.

At this time, she was discovered as a model for the first time, and from there, she continued to receive more modeling gigs for some high-end companies. When Gigi was 14 years old, she got an opportunity to model for Delia, which became the turning point of her career.

Around 2006, Gigi began working for Delia’s retail brand and her lips as a supermodel. She first signed with the famous New York-based modeling agency Wilhelmina Models.
