Paisley and Posies Bundle

 Sneak Peek

I’m so excited to be sharing some fun handmade cards with you featuring the Paisley and Posies Bundle found in the NEW 2016 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.  This stamp set and coordinating Framelits are so versatile.  While the Paisleys & Posies is definitely great for fall and Thanksgiving, it also goes beyond to cover all seasons.  Today’s projects include a bundle of quick, simple cards and one more in-depth card.

Project #1 – Paisley and Posies Bundle of Clean and Simple Cards

I love the Paisleys and Posies Bundle along with all the additional products in the suite such as the Pretty Paisleys Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The Pretty Paisleys Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is perfect for creating elegant, quick, clean and simple cards.

This bundle of five cards features the Pretty Paisleys embossing folder stamped with the sentiment in the middle.  The sentiment on each card coordinates with the base layer of cardstock.  Next, I stamped a coordinating medallion from the Paisleys and Posies Stamp Set in a variety of colors.

Each card features one medallion with Copper Metallic Thread.  On three of the cards, I placed the medallion in the upper right corner of the card.  Then, on the two remaining cards, I placed the medallion in the bottom left corner.  Yes, even you can create elegant cards that are clean and simple.

Project #2 – Paisleys and Posies Bundle Elegantly Blessed Card

Today’s Elegantly Blessed Card features a background using the Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The main color is Mint Macaron.  I then added a piece of Soft Suede with another design from the Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The patterns are beautiful next to each other.

Using Soft Suede Classic Ink, I stamped the sentiment on the Soft Suede cardstock which really showcases the intensity of the Soft Suede. One of my favorite products from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog is the 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon.  The burlap ribbon adds a nice contrast and natural element to the card.  It also acts a nice “separator” between the cardstock and designer series paper.

Finally, I added the elements stamped and cut out using the Paisleys and Posies Bundle.  The large paisley is stamped with Rich Razzleberry which helps create a simple background for the flower.  I stamped the flower with Delightful Dijon.  Leaves are stamped using Mint Macaron.  Next, I stamped three small circles with the Soft Suede.  Each small circle also has a small pearl accent.
