Ghana’s ruling party votes to elect candidate for 2024 ballot

Ghana's ruling Party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), held primaries to elect its candidate for the 2024 presidential ballot. Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia is expected to win the party's candidacy and face opposition candidate John Dramani Mahama.
