A total of 16 people have been arrested in Kolkata for allegedly black-marketing tickets to the India-South Africa World Cup match. The police have registered seven cases and seized 94 tickets. Representatives of an online Ticket booking portal were questioned by the police, but officials from the Cricket Association of Bengal did not appear. The police have served another notice to the cricket body to appear before them. The complainants allege that officials from the CAB and the online portal intentionally reserved tickets for the general public and made them available to black-marketers.
