Resorts in Mexico prepare for Hurricane Norma

Residents of Mexico's Los Cabos resorts and the islands of the Lesser Antilles are preparing for the arrival of Hurricane Norma and Hurricane Tammy, respectively. Businesses in Cabo San Lucas are boarding up windows and government personnel are warning against crossing gullies and stream beds. Norma, currently a Category 2 hurricane, is expected to bring heavy rain and the possibility of severe flooding. Shelters in Baja California are housing around 1,500 people, and emergency workers are evacuating residents from low-lying areas. In the Lesser Antilles, Tammy is forecasted to bring heavy rainfall and flooding, particularly in Antigua and Barbuda.
