Mahadev App: Promoters Among 14 Named in ED’s 1st Chargesheet; Probe Now Moves to 19 Bollywood A-Listers

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed its first chargesheet in the Mahadev App online betting scam, naming 14 people as accused. The ED officials suspect the scam to be worth Rs 6,000 crore and have provisionally attached Rs 41 crore as proceeds of crime. The main conspirators, Saurabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal, have been accused of gambling and money laundering through the app. The investigation now focuses on Bollywood stars, influencers, and TV actors who allegedly received Hawala payments to promote the app. Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, and Huma Qureshi have been summoned for questioning.
