The Dogger Bank Wind Farm, described as the world's largest Offshore Wind Farm, has made progress by producing its first power. The wind farm, located in the North Sea off England's northeast coast, will have a total capacity of 3.6 gigawatts and be able to power up to six million homes per year. The installation of its first turbine, which stands 260 meters tall with blades measuring 107 meters, required extensive planning and preparation. The project involves the use of GE Vernova's Haliade-X turbines and the Voltaire, a specialist vessel with a lifting capacity of 3,200 metric tons.
