Libyan Cook Salah Khalil and volunteers are preparing meals to be distributed to people displaced by deadly flooding in eastern Libya. The meals are given to those housed at a catering facility in Tripoli. Khalil emphasized the importance of helping those affected by the catastrophe, especially since he is from the city of Derna. The flash flood in Derna two weeks ago resulted in the deaths of nearly 4000 people and displaced over 43,000 people from the city and neighboring areas.
