Valencia is the third-largest city in Spain that is known for its ability to give you a great time whenever you decide to visit it. It is located on the southeastern coast of Spain. It is the oceanarium that opened up in 2003. This is the star of the city of Sciences and Art. Holding over 45000 individual animals from over 500 species, it has grown to be a critical point for any visitor in Valencia.

The aquarium is kept under strict surveillance to maintain a specific environment for each animal. To enhance this, they use seawater directly from the waterfront to ensure the environment is as close to home as their natural habitats.

Designed to look like the ‘eye,’ it has been termed as the ‘eye of knowledge.’ It looks like an eyelid opening to the surrounding pool with the bottom of the lake made out of glass. It has transparent roofs held by concrete arches connected to the sunken gallery.
