All About My Mom Free Printable

Mom will be delighted as she reads the answers to our “All About My Mom” printable. Smaller kids will probably need a little help writing down their answers, but there are plenty of opportunities for kids of all ages to draw. Have the kids fill one of these out as a special birthday or Mother’s Day gift idea!

One of the things that moms love most is to “make time stop” so they can remember details of their sweet kiddos at different ages. There is nothing better than capturing the thoughts of little kids – in their own handwriting!

Simple printables like this one ask kids to answer simple questions. They make special keepsakes, and this is one that the kids can redo every year to see the difference a year makes.

The School Year Time Capsule printable is one of my favorite traditions, with the kids doing part of it at the beginning of the year and the other part at the end of the year. It’s SO much fun, and you can do it every year (with every kid!)!

And now this “All About My Mom” printable is a new(ish) tradition I love. I only wish I had started it when my kids were toddlers!

“All About My Mom” Printable – Perfect For Dads To Make With Kids

Here’s a secret: moms love DIY gifts. I love all those kiddie crafts and cards and handprint items. Yep, I’m a total sucker!

But of the 5 of us, I’m THE crafty one. And I love surprises. But if I want a “surprise” for Mother’s Day, I can’t reasonably expect it to be a craft.

So, here’s the next best thing – and it’s totally worth it! This is something that dads and/or non-crafty people can pull off for mothers with a 100% chance of success!

This printable may not be a craft per se, but it’s a great keepsake that you can put inside a card, and it’s so much funnier than most homemade crafts!

Teachers and Scouts activity leaders may also find this “All About My Mom” printable to be a perfect activity to do near Mother’s Day. 😁

How To Do This “All About My Mom” Free Printable

Print out the All About My Mom questionnaire then let the kids “go to town” filling it out.

If you want to take it a step further, grab my printable Letter To My Mom and have the kids fill that out too. Mom will be so touched to receive both!

Tips And Ideas To Try

  • Write the date on it somewhere so you can memorialize when your child wrote this. This will come in even more handy if you do this year after year!
  • I think it would be fun to make this All About My Mom survey as an annual Mother’s Day tradition and compare how much the kids have changed each year.
  • Frame it, put it in a scrapbook, or hang it on the refrigerator. It can be a real pick-me-up on those challenging parenting days.
  • Put it in a sheet protector and create a notebook to hold all the sheets that you’ll make year after year.
  • If the kids aren’t writing yet, they can speak their answers to an older sibling or another adult to record.
  • Take a photo of your kiddo holding the completed questionnaire, and include it in the keepsake scrapbook or notebook where you keep the sheets.

Turn Your “All About My Mom” Printable Into A Video

This printable is a GREAT gift Idea. And yet, nothing beats watching your kids on video. Have them answer the questions on video – kids really DO say the darndest things!
