The latest photos stemming from the training ground of Premier League giants Chelsea will no doubt pique the attentions of the club’s fanbase on Monday evening.
Bees test
Thomas Tuchel’s men are set to return to action in a little over 48 hours’ time.
After failing to arrest a concerning recent spell of form en route to a 0-0 stalemate with Wolves at the weekend, the Blues will turn their attentions back towards matters in the League Cup on Wednesday evening.
A showdown with capital rivals Brentford lies in wait, at the Brentford Community Stadium.
Tuchel and co. will no doubt be desperate to get things back on track up against the Bees, with Chelsea’s hunt for an unprecedented quadruple having been dealt a series of blows over the course of the last few weeks, owing to just a solitary win from five across all competitions.
Jorginho boost
Ahead of his side’s short trip to the Brentford Community Stadium, meanwhile, Tuchel put his troops through their paces earlier this afternoon, in the process dropping a couple of hints when it comes to his the Chelsea boss’ potential setup on Wednesday.
Most notable was the presence of Italian international Jorginho amongst the action at Cobham.
Midfielder Jorginho was forced to sit out the Pensioners’ meeting with Wolves on Sunday, after returning an inconclusive test for Covid-19.
Evidently, though, further testing has yielded positive results, with the former Napoli man having been spotted in Chelsea’s official training photos this evening:

Interestingly, also involved were a pair of academy talents.
Thomas Tuchel has been criticised of late for his failure to make use of the youth setup in west London, amid a host of personnel woes within his side’s ranks.
In fact, at Molineux at the weekend, the German called up just a 6-man strong bench.
On Monday, however, highly-regarded youngsters Xavi Simons and Josh Brooking both took full part in first-team training, hinting at potential inclusions in the club’s squad to face Brentford:
