Today I received the most exciting parcel to date!
I am a MASSIVE Yankee Candle lover, Birthday? Yankee candle, Christmas? Yankee candle.. I love them. I love the feeling of giving the house a clean over and get it all sparkly then light a Yankee candle and fill the house with there gorgeous scents! I think my favorite time for a yankee candle is Christmas, id even go as far as saying you cant have a Christmas without a few Yankee candles dotted around the house in there Christmassy scents!
Well that was before I smelt this New Range “Just Go” . Weve just come back from 3 weeks in spain and the holiday blues have well and truly set in. Longing for that holiday scent but thanks to Yankee my holiday blues have been eased.
Look how beautiful they are and if I could add in a scratch and sniff patch to this post god you’d be in heaven to. This range is all about travel. Bringing that holiday scent to your home and taking your mind away to those treasured moments. Taking yourself on a trip around the smells of the world in your own home. Within the range is Wild Desert Wind (Fresh) , Coconut Splash (fruit), Misty Mountains (fresh) , and Tropical Jungle (fruit) .
The first fragrance I smelt Coconut Splash from the fruit range, I cant even tell you how fast my mind went back to our holiday being on the beach, the smell of coconut and mango floating through the beach air. I felt like I was right back in the moment of watching my babies playing in the sand, the sea waves flowing up to our feet and fresh summer air. The scent is like the Caribbean in a jar. This one is by far my favourite and I lit it immediately.
The second scent in the fruit range was the red Tropical Jungle. This one is defiantly the sweetest out the 4. Its scent reminds me of fruity cocktail or a floral tropical garden. Its a very summer smell, light and sweet. Its by far the fruitiest of the range and really reminds me of a summer drink with a fresh lime. It smells gorgeous and just makes me want to be out exploring the world and its beautiful scenes.
The next Warm Desert Wind really took me back to the warm air of the night abroad. You no that night time feeling when your on holiday, when the sun has gone down and there is a slight breeze but still blowing that warm summer heat. Sitting relaxing with a little blanket around your shoulders and a glass of wine listening to the ocean. That’s the exact picture I get with this scent. Warm vanilla and patchouli. This scent is a real homely cosy smell. I think this one is very close second in my favourites of the range.
And lastly but not least is the Misty Mountains scent, which is also apart of the fresh range. This scent isn’t a sweet scent more a cool fresh scent. Like an evening in a cabin in a national forest with lavender flowers and tall pine trees. Its a cosy scent. I also can smell a minty scent from this maybe spearmint. Its gives me the imagine of being in Cornwall a view of beautiful fields and a misty evening. This scent is more masculine than the others. Its so beautiful.
Whether you’ve got the holiday blues and need that reminder at home or your about to jet set it across the world, this range is the perfect beginning or end to any travelling adventures. And if your not going anywhere but just want that gorgeous scent at home I would 100% give these scents ago. They are all beautiful and for me flooded memories and dreams to mind. Go on treat yourself or the ones you love.
