Kelingking Beach, Nusa Penida

Kelingking Beach is first on our list because it is like no beach we’ve ever seen before.

It’s located in Nusa Penida, an island just off the coast of Bali Indonesia.

Kelingking Beach is known for looking like the shape of a dinosaur from above.

Aside from this, it is honestly just one of the most stunning beaches we’ve come across while traveling.

As we know, all good things come with a price, especially the best beaches in Asia.

Visiting Kelingking for the day isn’t as simple as bringing a towel and finding the best spot on the beach.

The road to Kelingking is bumpy and broken, and once you get there you have to hike down a very steep cliff to get to the beach where you can finally put your towel out and enjoy Indonesia’s most perfect beach.

Suwehan Beach, Nusa Penida

Unspoiled and Untouched… Yet another hidden gem located in Nusa Penida just waiting to be explored is Suwehan Beach.

When we went, it was totally private. Not a single soul was on the beach with us. It’s pretty rare to find a near perfect beach with absolutely no one on it.

Now here’s the catch. Just like Kelingking Beach, the journey to get there is the most difficult part.

The road to Suwehan Beach is by far the worst we came across in Nusa Penida. Once you arrive you then have to walk down numerous flights of stairs for about 5-10 minutes, and then walk along the rocky part of the beach till you get to the stunning beach of Suwehan.

Tegal Wangi, Jimbaran

Tegal Wangi is a small yet glorious beach in Jimbaran, Bali.

This little pocket of Bali is never too crowded by tourists, which allows you to have a truly relaxing beach day in paradise.

Unlike the two beaches above, Tegal Wangi is easy and stress-free to get to.

You can simply rent a motorbike and venture down there yourself, or organize Balinese tour guide to take you there in a comfortable, air-conditioned van.

Suluban Beach, Uluwatu

Just a little further down the coast from Tegal Wangi is Suluban Beach.

Suluban’s naturally unique landscape is the very reason we consider it to be one of the best beaches in Asia.

It’s not exactly private, but it is beautiful and easily accessible.

Suluban Beach is a crowd favorite among surfers due to Uluwatu’s colossal waves.

For those not so into surfing, you can take a short stroll over to Single Fin Beach Club to grab a few drinks and a bite to eat while overlooking the ever so tranquil Uluwatu landscape.

South Beach, Gili Trawangan

Luckily, the beach in Gili T is one of the best beaches in Asia with its crystal blue water and white sand.

And FYI… when you work up an appetite from getting an even tan there are a bunch of restaurants to satisfy your cravings.

• Railay East
• Railay West

Every single one of these beaches is divine and downright unbeatable, so don’t make the mistake of going all the way to Thailand without visiting Railay Beach.

Haad Rin Beach, Koh Phangan

If this isn’t paradise, then I don’t know what is because 7 Commando Beach is flawless.

It’s only accessible via boat on El Nido Boat Tour A & B, so you will have to book a tour with a travel agent once you get to El Nido!

Nacpan Beach, El Nido Palawan

Nacpan Beach stretches for so long that other backpacker’s and tourists could never overcrowd it.

Visiting Nacpan Beach is one of the best things you can do in El Nido Palawan that isn’t a boat tour.

Here you will get two beaches in one, with Nacpan Beach only being one half of ‘Twin Beach’, with it’s other (just as beautiful) half being called Calitang Beach.

Alegria Beach, Siargao
