Before we began our ministry, we were members of a ministry for seven years and pastored there for thirteen years, a total of twenty years was invested in that ministry; no matter what, that ministry owes me nothing neither does her Presiding Bishop. We worked so much on ourselves not to be victimized by entitlement Mentality because we understand divine workings and God’s reward system; we understand that when you are planting destiny seeds, you most times don’t reap its harvest where you planted, the harvest awaits you sometimes in unlikely places from unlikely sources. A lot of people have closed destiny relationships because of entitlement mentality, and then, Rent Mentality – the junior brother of Entitlement Mentality.
Wherever you see entitlement mentality, you see rent mentality; it is built on “What is in it for me…what do I stand to gain…what can I get…?” People with this mentality go into relationships based on what they can get and not what they can offer; they are never part of rendering services that do not bear their own interest; for every service they render, they charge. If you as Joseph in the prison charge the Chief Baker and bottler, remember that Pharaoh will never need you. The only way to break rent mentality is to embrace owner’s mentality; it is the mentality of responsibility; a mind that nurtures and grows anything around it without a feeling of being used. Receive grace to live above rent and entitlement mentality, in Jesus’ Name!

Today, I put off rent mentality and I embrace owner’s mentality by taking responsibility for doing my creative best with my life, my environment, where I worship and Work; thank You LORD, in Jesus Mighty Name!

The only way to break rent mentality is to embrace owners mentality.
