Bungalow House was missing an internal Porch.

So we had to create one which meant moving the Front Room door along and putting up an internal wall.    

Our builder didn’t think the porch would need a radiator but, as ever, I had over ideas! I wanted the porch to feel warm and welcoming as soon as you came in.  

Our budget wouldn’t stretch to real tiles on the floor but we are really pleased with the sheet vinyl we laid and it is really easy to clean.

The mirror was from The Range which I distressed with chalk paint. The coat rack got the same treatment and I changed the hooks to some I already had. I was going to get some really fancy ones but most of the time they are hidden anyway.

It’s a small room but makes a big difference and also keeps Bun safe if the front door is left open!
