MAHALO Petal Mask Review

Happy Valentine’s Day Lovelies ♥

A few months back, I purchased the Rare Indigo Balm ( I talked about it HERE ) and received a sneak preview of the yet-to-be-released MAHALO Petal Mask which I have been loving since November. I then talked about it more recently as it was exclusively only available when you purchased one of the stunning You Are Loved Gift Box from MAHALO (you can still get one of those if you want more value), but I’m super excited to announce that the Petal Mask is now available on it’s own directly from MAHALO starting today so you can now get it all on it’s own!

MAHALO Petal Mask Review

One of the things that sets this face mask apart from others is it’s influence on blending various different floral elements, namely Rose, with honey and other plant essences and oils like sandalwood, vanilla, turmeric, and cacao to heal, hydrate, soften, and give your Skin a gorgeous glow. It’s a lovely mask that errs more on the gentle side of things. Most face masks are either gel-like consistency or clay based masks meant to exfoliate or hydrate your skin, but the Petal Mask is seriously gentle on the skin. Even though it is considered a beta-hydroxy treatment and does include some clay in the formula, it uses gentle skin exfoliants (like manuka honey, turmeric, and vitamin C) which won’t cause skin irritations and will work to calm redness instead of causing it. I imagine this would be a great mask for anyone with dry, dull or mature skin and I’m sure sensitive, combination and acne prone types would benefit from the healing floral ingredients and soothing, antibacterial properties of the honey. All in all, I really think this is one of those face masks that nearly everyone can use and love.
