Sour Cream Cherry Pie: Easy Recipe with Candied Cherries

If you want to taste an extra special Sour Cream cherry pie set off to perfection with red candied cherries, a subtle influx of cinnamon and vanilla that will melt in your mouth, then this easy recipe is something you must try. One velvety bit of this homemade and delicious cherry cream pie and you’ll fall in love while wanting to savor its smooth and delicious flavor as long as you can before swallowing.

Why This is the Best Cream Pie Worth Your Attention

To begin with, this pie is so simple to make and hardly takes much time to pull it together. It involves mixing the ingredients before pouring into an unbaked crust.

Of course, you can use your favorite pie crust recipe or a ready prepared one that you bought. However, I recommend my oil pie crust, which is tender, flaky and honestly foolproof even for someone that had disappointments in pie making. It is healthier than a shortening-based crust and turns out even better using olive oil.

Another reason this gently spiced custard pie with candied cherries should be on agenda is because there are only several ingredients you’ll need for the filling. For this reason, it is a fairly inexpensive pie to bake.

Furthermore, this easy custard pie is festive with whole candied cherries for a beautiful appearance as well as yummy and a recipe that can be made ahead to serve to family and guests.

Put my pie to a taste test because it is the only way to convince you that it is the best sour Cream Cherry Pie ever. Please also share my recipe with family and friends and do come back to my blog for more.
