AD Haircare Favourites from Very

This year I’ve taken a lot of things more seriously, including my haircare. Last year I didn’t realise that I was breaking my hair so much using the wrong product to dye it and by the time I figured it out, the damage was done. I’ve now moved back to semi-permanent hair colours and drastically upped my haircare routine. I already had a lot of haircare favourites but now I’ve just increased the amount, gone to higher end brands, and made sure to stick with it. Right now Very is having an incredible sale and all my haircare favourites have great offers on so I thought I’d share them with you. I do have some old haircare favourites that have always stuck with me from Colorwow so let’s start with them. Haircare Favourites: Colorwow Colorwow Color Security Shampoo  I’ve always been a massive fan of Colorwow after working my way every colour protect shampoo and finding that this is the ONLY one that doesn’t make my hair massively leak. Where most shampoos will make me end up with bright red hands, Colorwow doesn’t but I just don’t love how low foaming it is, it’s really hard to make your hair feel truly washed. Probably because I have such thick hair though. Both my dad and Alfie, yes you read that right, the men with less than 3 inches of hair think this is a great shampoo. They’re not wrong I guess. I always have this in and when I need an extra wash I will just add something to it, but this really does keep your colour in and I can’t recommend it enough. Colorwow Dream Coat Extra Strength  Colorwow Dreamcoat is another product that I’ve used for the longest time, way before it went viral all over the internet. It’s such a clever product where you absolutely drench your hair in it, I know it sounds so wrong but trust me, then you dry and style your hair to lock it in. It helps with shine, smoothing, and overall a gorgeous glossy look. You only have to use in every 3-4 shampoos too and it’s just such a great product that I will always use. There’s a new Extra Strength version too that I’ve moved over to and it’s really great. Colorwow x Chris Appleton Money Masque A new product from Colorwow that I’m really loving is their Chris Appleton + Colorwow MONEY mask, this is meant to make your hair look expensive and every time I’ve used it I’ve been super impressed. I always tend to use masks on dry hair and then wash them off but it really is better to use them on wet hair inbetween washing and conditioning. This is such a pricey hairmask to what I’m used to (I was such an Olaplex 8 girl) but it makes such a massive difference that it’s worth it. This will be my third tub! Haircare Favourites: K18 Hair It’s hard to ignore a Tiktok trend and literally everyone was using K18 and raving about it so I asked for some for my birthday and ended up with a fake version! Can you believe? I’ve since used an entire bottle of the real stuff, and thankfully picked up their Detox shampoo first too so I could make sure it did a good job and the difference in my hair is unreal. There is so much less breakage and flyaways. With heatless curls I am definitely a little frizzier than when I used to spend an hour curling my hair with straighteners, but overall my hair is so much healthier for it too. With these products on top? My hair is in the best condition it’s ever been! K18 Leave-in Molecular Repair Hair Mask The leave in mask really is the star of the show, it’s so easy to use and it makes the biggest difference. You’re meant to use 3-9 pumps every wash for 4-6 washes and then just as and when. I’ve been using it every wash for 3 months now and I just absolutely love it. You can’t condition your hair with this as you need the product to get onto your hair properly, so my hair feels awful after just a shampoo but applying this helps to completely detangle and coat my hair wonderfully. After 4 minutes you can apply other products too, like the hair oil. K18 Molecular Repair Hair Oil  This is a really impressive oil that reduces split ends and adds a lot of shine, you can also use it as a heat protectant too. It’s super weightless which is what I like most about it. They’ve run clinical studies which show these products actually repairing damaged hair, so it does explain and make it worth the price tag to me! I’m definitely wanting to try more from the K18 range, I really feel like they are products that make a noticeable difference very quickly and that’s exactly what I like when spending so much time and effort on my hair. Have you tried any of these haircare favourites? Let me know in the comments!
