This year, there are several standout fragrances that are sure to impress. Here are our top 4 Fragrances for Him this Christmas, we hope you like them! I say ‘we’ as Alfie has helped me with this post seeing as they’re from his collection. 4 Fragrances for Him this Christmas 1. Dior Sauvage Eau de Toilette – £97.00 / 100ml Dior Sauvage is a fragrance that has gained iconic status in the world of men’s perfumery. Inspired by wild, open spaces and a blue sky that covers rocky landscapes, Sauvage is definitely a popular one! The fragrance is powerfully fresh, with notes of pepper, bergamot, patchouli, vetiver, cedar and more. It’s fresh yet still got that spice. Alfie says it is something that he could easily wear daily, as although it has the musk and the spice, it also has citrus which makes it a very wearable scent. It is nothing like the men’s aftershaves from 20+ years where they are overpowering or overbearing. 2. Moschino Toy Boy Eau de Parfum – £69.99 / 100ml (was £85) Moschino’s Toy Boy Eau de Parfum is meant to be a playful fragrance, hence the design of the bottle. The scent features unique ingredients creating a spicy, woody floral fragrance. The main notes include Italian bergamot, clove bud, and vetiver, which create a scent that is unexpected and very interesting. Moschino Toy Boy is a fragrance that my best friend has been wearing for a long, long time. It isn’t overly masculine and would be something I would consider wearing myself actually, all perfume is unisex of course, but this really doesn’t have any signs of the typical masculine fragrance. It’s really quite lovely! Of course perfume smells different on everyone too, so I do wonder how it’ll wear on me! 3. Hugo Boss Bottled Elixir Parfum Intense – £95.00 / 100ml Hugo Boss Bottled Elixir Parfum Intense, is exactly what the name suggests, intense! Described as rich, it has notes of fresh apple and bergamot notes, orris and sage, and settles into a base of vetiver, patchouli, and woody notes. The elixir version does come across as a lot more potent and powerful than the others in this post but it does mean you’d get more wear out of it as you definitely wouldn’t need a lot on! 4. Burberry Hero Eau de Parfum – £109.00 / 100ml Burberry Hero Eau de Parfum is the latest fragrance from Burberry. The scent is a blend of bergamot, juniper, and black pepper, providing a fresh and vibrant, with a cedarwood trio, sourced from three mountain ranges in America, Morocco, and the Himalayas, which lends an empowering and elegant trail. I’ve made sure to leave the notes exactly as this really is exactly what it smells like. Burberry Hero is very interesting, it smells exactly like the ingredients, a fresh woody smell with perhaps the faint smell of a burning fire somewhere. A very fresh outdoor smell, nothing artificial at all, you know like when a fragrance says it smells like an ocean breeze and it doesn’t? This really smells like the outdoors and it’s really lovely!
