Nordgreen is committed to making its environmental footprint zero too which is amazing to hear from brands. The timepieces have been thoughtfully designed and launched back in 2017, since then the company has only grown more and even has a Giving Back Program. The watches are designed to be passed on to the next generation, meaning that they’ve clearly been built to last and to be a special purchase. Sustainability is of huge importance for Nordgreen and they really make sure that every member of their team is committed to the values of the company. Nordgreen’s Giving Back Program There’s a full page with devastating facts like how the ‘equivalent of twenty football fields of rainforest cut down every minute,’ and it really does have a shocking effect when you read it. The Nordgreen’s Giving Back Program doesn’t actually cost you anything extra than the price of your timepiece, after you’ve purchased your watch you just have to decide where you want your donation to go. There are three partners of Nordgreen Watches, Water for Good which gives two months of clean water to one person in The Central African Republic, Cool Earth where you’ll preserve 200 sqft of rain in Latin America, and then Pratham UK which gives one month of education to a child in India. There are 4 women’s sizes and 5 men’s sizes to get that perfect fit. 11 choices of straps between 3 main categories, stainless steel, leather, and nylon, and finally, the choice of dial colour in white, black, sunray green, turquoise, brushed metal, navy, sunray brown or red. For a women’s Nordgreen watch there are extra colour options such as pink, yellow, polished metal, and mother of pearl. I picked out the Nordgreen Watch for men in Pioneer which has a domed sapphire glass that makes the watch resistant to easy damage and adds a fancy element to it. It has 10 ATM water resistance if that means anything to you and Japanese quartz movement. I picked out the black dial, rose gold colour and matching rose gold metal strap. I think this is a timeless piece and design and a colourway that will be heavily worn. Overall I’m beyond impressed with the quality of this watch, even the packaging is really special and something that I’ll be keeping! You can see how well it’s been made and it’s extremely nice to look at. Clearly a fancy watch! Everything about Nordgreen has been really impressive from ordering, their Giving Back Program and the final delivery of the watch.
