AD Plus Size Summer Fashion with Very Curve

Whilst the majority of plus size fashion in the UK seems to be going backwards, Very Curve or the Very Plus Size range (whatever you prefer to call it) is quietly making BIG waves. Not only are they constantly adding new plus size brands to their already quite impressive list, but they are also making dedicated plus size ranges with the wonderful Judi Love! Not to mention how inclusive they are by recently stocking Yours Clothing up to a size 38-40, but they already have over 1000 pieces in a size 32! Which some plus size brands don’t ever cater for. It’s really impressive and it’s making Very a site that I visit most days to see what’s new! This time I’m back to show you some of the plus size summer dresses options with Very Curve, starting with two beautiful maxi dresses from another current favourite of mine, City Chic. Now you have to know about the sizes at City Chic otherwise when you’re buying you’re not going to be getting the right size. You would have to google the City Chic size guide to get it wrong but for reference, I am wearing a City Chic size 24 which is actually a 26/28 UK. I am a true, ‘I loved it so much so I bought it in another colour’ girl, most of my wardrobe is the same or similar styles just in different colours or prints. So when I saw this yellow City Chic Summer Knot Maxi Dress Sunshine and then the similar style in a khaki green City Chic Villa Capri Maxi Dress I knew I had to have them both. They’re both really lovely quality, you can tell they’re not cheap but they’re also not thick enough to bake you in the summer’s heat! Both of the dresses are partially lined but even that was comfortable too. Plus size summer fashion is made easy with the offerings Very Curve has to offer! I was spoilt for choice for summer maxi dresses but I just absolutely loved the 3/4 sleeve style on the green one and then the floaty short sleeves on the yellow maxi, both with my favourite sweetheart neckline. As for summer bags, I’ve been known since my teens to carry literally everything with me. To the point where my leaving gift from secondary school was a suitcase from my form tutor! We still laugh about it. That meant that I knew I needed a chunky summer handbag and I absolutely love Very’s offerings for handbags as they have everything from high street to designer! This Valentino Bags Divina Medium Tote Bag in beige really caught my eye because it’s one of those that will go with everything! I think it looks super luxurious and the quality is amazing. It’s definitely a bag I’m going to be using for years to come! I can’t let summer pass without picking up another pair of sunglasses! I now have a pretty impressive collection but for these Very Curve beauties, I wanted to pick a more modern style. These are surprisingly from River Island, but the soft hexagon style, fade and finish make them appear much more expensive! Obviously, I couldn’t forget to pick something from the Very Curve x Judi Love range and I absolutely loved this Judi Love Wrap Plisse Midi Dress in Black. You really can’t go wrong with black for summer nights, especially when it’s such a throw-on effortless glamorous dress! I felt extremely comfortable yet very dressed up and that just absolutely ticks all my boxes! Plus it’s super comfy in my wheelchair too! Depending on which of my wheelchairs I’m using, my transit (where I need to be pushed) can handle maxi dresses, but my electric chair (Goldie) gets caught in long fabric so this meant that the Judi Love dress also passed this test too!
