Father’s Day Gift Guide 2022

Usually I let my dad pick out the items for my Father’s Day Gift Guide but this year I thought I would surprise him instead! It’s a very select gift guide this year with me picking only the top things he would like but make sure to go over to my men’s section to see posts from previous years where there are even more brands and present options to look through! Let’s dive straight in! Red Candy Galaxy Lava Lamp – £42.00 This is probably the most excited I have ever been to give a present to my Dad in years! He absolutely loves quirky and fun things like this and I thought this was so perfect for next to his bed. My mum has a star galaxy light which creates the same colours so together these are going to look amazing. Lush Father’s Day Collection Get (Sur)Real Gift Box – £25.00 Ever since I worked at Lush my dad has really enjoyed their products. I would always catch him sneaking a bath both or leaving HAND marks in my products because he would always use so much so getting him his own personal stash is a great idea to keep mine safe! This is a lovely limited edition box set that contains Big Moustache Soap, Glitch Shower Gel and New Shampoo Bar. The only thing that isn’t limited edition is the New Shampoo Bar. They also have a Dirty Bath Bomb at £5.00 and a No.1 Dad Bubble Bar at £6.00, both have the minty smell of Dirty and it’s seriously strong! My entire office smelt amazing. Another cool addition to the Father’s Day collection is the Superdad eye pad at £6.00. They also did a Supermum version for Mother’s Day! Clckr Wallet with Stand – £19.99 This is a great gadget for dad’s who don’t like to carry a wallet or are always losing cards. It’s a phone stand, grip and wallet all in one! Your cards slot in and are super safe, it’s a comfortable design for making holding your phone more comfortable and then if you fancy watching something on your phone, you can use it as a stand too! It’s the perfect all-rounder. YSL Y Eau de Toilette – 100ml at £77.00 YSL is my favourite brand for perfume ever, I am a massive Black Opium fan and I have been for years. There’s nothing I love more than perfume shopping (in person) and getting to try out all the latest scents so I was super excited to get to smell the newly renovated YSL Y Eau De Toilette for men. This is such a lovely warming scent, described as ‘mineral woody’ with lavender and cedarwood. I would put this as a day scent for men as it’s still light in a way compared to other scents I’ve smelt. I love the graph on the YSL website that shows the difference between this one and the other 2 from this range, if only all companies made it so easy to see the difference between limited editions. King C. Gillette Beard and Moustache Trimmer – £30.00 now £15.00 This appears to be a new brand by Gillete and I’m here for it! I’m always buying the men in my life razors or beard trimmers, even hair clippers and putting them in fancy gift boxes with really good looking packaging makes it feel even more of a gift! King C.Gilette has a great range that’ll suit every person’s need including all the accessories that they’ll ever need to go with it! Gillette Labs Exfoliating Razor Bundle with Magnetic Stand – was £22.49 now £14.99 You can never go wrong with getting the man in your life a new razor, or woman really, I love a good razor! Gilette is the kings of razors and I’m super intrigued about this new exfoliating bar which sounds really fancy. It sounds like a great way to get a super smooth shave with ease! Essential Electronics Toolkit by iFixit – £21.99 Kits like this are such good practical gifts for men who like gadgets and fixing things. This essentials kit can help fix basic problems on a laptop, phones, and over-smart devices around the house. It contains a spudger, opening picks, opening tool, jimmy and suction cup, screwdriver bits and grip tweezers. It also comes in a bigger version which would be great for anyone who actively does try to fix electrical things as a hobby. Yardley London Gentleman Fragrance – £19.99 How these are stylish and oh my goodness, the Legacy version is absolutely beautiful! It has pink pepper, madarin, cedar wood and cocoa and it’s such a warming, comforting, scent for a true gentleman! The price is really great too with chunky 100ml bottles and scents that smeller high end, you really cannot go wrong! There 5 different ones to choose from, the Classic is citrus, spicy cardamon with black pepper and then sandalwood, musk, and amber. It isn’t as warming as Legacy but it’s still a really lovely scent and they’d make fantastic presents! Mainline Menswear No matter if it’s a birthday, Father’s Day or Christmas, we always treat my dad to new clothes. In fact, I don’t think my dad has picked his own clothes out in over 10 years now! Usually my brother picks everything as he has much better style when it comes to men’s fashion that I do and this year he picked out the Fred Perry Twin Tipped Polo T Shirt Black at £65.00. Fred Perry is a very popular stylish brand that all the men in my life like and this is a classic style with the line detailing.
