Top 5 Liz Earle Products & Trying New Ranges

My mum is Liz Earle‘s number 1 fan, both the actual woman Liz Earle (for creating the brand) and the brand itself. So I thought we’d do a post on her Top 5 Liz Earle products of all time, although she could easily rank the entire brand. I shockingly don’t think I’ve ever mentioned them on the blog before? Probably because I’m usually not allowed to use any of her multiple date-organised stashes! Well, not unless my face goes into turmoil than she always brings down a routine and tells me to go back to the basics we can trust. Top 5 Liz Earle Products Number 1 – Liz Earle’s Hot Cloth Cleanser – £17 The famous, beautifully softening, and always impressive hot cloth cleanser, that other brands always try to copy but they have nothing on the original. Liz Earle’s Hot Cloth Cleanser is pretty much known by everyone in the beauty world (it was even ranked as one of Boots top gifts in 2020!) it’s one of the most beautiful ways to take off your makeup, with a thick creamy cleanser that can fight through any stubborn makeup, and a steamy hot muslin cloth that gently exfoliates and leaves your skin feeling soft and clear. We also love the different limited edition fragrances that pop up, still the same cleanser just sometimes with a little pop of something different. Number 2 –  Instant Boost Skin Tonic – £16.50 This is always used after cleansing to take away any last bits of makeup that might be left and prep the skin for moisturiser, it’s a staple and just something that’s so reliable and never lets you down. It also comes in spritz bottles that we put in the fridge for summer and use to cool down, we also always take them on holiday! Number 3 – Liz Earle’s Skin Repair Light Cream – £24 Whenever buying the numerous gift sets over the years, my mum has always had the light option of Liz Earle’s Skin Repair, even whilst approaching a large number in age (which I can’t put online) my mum’s skin is still a tad on the oily side. Obviously no complaints! For as long as I can remember this has been my mum’s day cream, she’s had other products but no matter what, she’ll wear this. Again it’s just a seriously reliable product. The cleanser, tonic, and moisturiser are essentials. There hasn’t been a single day in this house in the last 15 years where don’t at least have 2 of all of these staples in at any one time. Getting The Best Value with Liz Earle For the best value, we always pick up the ‘Your Daily Routine‘ sets which come with the cleanser, tonic, moisturiser, and usually a few extra gifts. Liz Earle has always been big on the free gifts with purchases, even as a kid I remember all the different fancy bags that came with the products and samples that I got to try! The current Daily Routine set is £49 and it has £134 worth of products in it! It’s a great way to stock up on the essentials and try something new. I have NEVER bought Liz Earle individually, always in sets because it’s just better value. Number 4 – Liz Earle’s Energising Botanical Body Wash – £15 The orange flower in this, the thickness of the shower gel and overall pure luxury has you feeling like you’ve had a spa treatment! This is actually on my mum’s Christmas list as it’s one of her favourite products, but not something she often keeps up with. I suspect because my dad uses too much and it’s a bit of a hassle to keep moving it in and out of the bathroom. Whilst recently categorising her Liz Earle collection, mum was horrified to find she only had a single bottle of this in the house! It’s one of those wonderful smells that drift through the house after a hot shower and everyone’s asking what you’ve used! Number 5 – Liz Earle’s Orange Flower Hand Repair – £11 For as long as I can remember my mum has been hugely obsessed with hand creams and has far too many to count. Liz Earle is obviously her favourite though and always has been. She loves the orange flower smell (and so do I). My top number 5 would be different as I’m a HUGE fan of the Deep Cleansing Face Mask and the orange sponge it comes with, currently out of stock but such a beautiful mask. Liz Earle’s New Ranges Liz Earle Pro-Biotic Range Liz Earle very kindly sent mum and me some of their latest ranges to try out. I’ve been trying out the new Liz Earle Pro-Biotic Range which is meant to visibly improve your skin in a week! It’s their first new cleanser since 1995 and of course, is a wonderful addition to the collection. The idea of this range is to strengthen your skin barrier and improve dry and sensitive skin. I’m on the severe oily side so I really had to be careful with how much I used as a little was very heavy on my skin, but for people with dry skin, this will be perfection! The cleaner is £18 and the day and night cream are £32 each or you can buy the trio for £57.40 currently!  Liz Earle’s Superskin Range  Many many years ago, the Superskin range used to be a very oily rollerball product for when you needed extra hydration, now it has blossomed into a huge range with a serum, booster, eye cream, moisturiser, and night cream! After reading about the range, it all sounds super impressive, with lots of stats and figures about how these products are dramatically improving people’s skin. Mum still wants a few more weeks of trying them out properly but it’s looking like a good review so far! The Superskin range has always had a seriously relaxing and […]
