Super Juice Me Plan Review Week 2

Hi!  Last week I started the Super Juice Me 28 plan by Jason Vale, you can see how I got on here:

Hmmm....Mixed feelings this week.  I have to admit that, at the start of the week I did struggle a bit!  Initially I wasn't sure what was going on, as this week their were no cravings as such, but I felt more hungry (even after the hunger SOS bars. I went back to the coaching videos as I was feeling myself start to wobble.  I couldn't work out if this was genuine hunger or 'head hunger'.  I felt like this for about 3 days from Monday to Wednesday.

Anyway I remembered watching one of the videos on the app and  Jason made a comment about how the Thicky juices, (as they are the more filling ones) should usually make about 500ml and if the fruit and veg (or juicer) that you are using is making less than that add more fruit/veg.  That was when the penny dropped!!! My Thickies were coming out much less than 500ml (for some reason) and that was probably why I was still feeling hungry!!

Anyway after that little tip, the rest of the week was fine!  So far my favourite juices on the plan (apart from the Cocoa Tahini Beanie, which is just soooo delicious!!) are Protein Rich Powerhouse,  and the other one that I like is the Fibre Optics smoothie.

This week people started to comment that I had lost weight (but at the same time) told me 'you are only going to put it back on again!' I just smiled and said 'we will see' (gotta love the juice skeptics and proving them wrong!)  Another friend was really positive and told me that I was full of energy and a lot calmer and that my skin was looking really clear and my eyes were looking really bright!

At the half way stage and feeling good!  I am on the Super Juice Me plan to lose weight and also help with my anxiety and low mood.  It's half term next week and week 3 on the plan, So far what has kept me for quitting the plan (on the difficult days) were the coaching videos and also before I started I wrote a list of reasons why I want to lose weight and get my health back on track and referred to them when I felt like I was struggling.

So bring on week 3!  Sleeping very good which is fantastic, as it's half term next week I can use the extra energy that I have to keep my 4 year old entertained!  Will post back next week on how I got on!
