Lancome Dreamtone Serum 03 Dark Skin

Popped out the other day (without make up on) and the worst thing happened!  I saw someone I used to work with!  Back in the day, (when I wasn't a stay at home mum), I was quite glamorous, and would never be seen without make up on!

My friend looked like she hadn't aged a day since I last saw her and she looked so glam, she was hardly wearing any make up, she is so naturally beautiful and has the most amazing skin!

It made me wonder if there was a product out there that I could use that would give me perfect skin, so if I did dare to go out without make up on again and saw somebody I knew, I wouldn't want to die of shame!

The first product that came to mind was Dior Dreamskin, you can check out my review here:

Lancome also have a product called Dreamtone.   Lancome Dreamtone is a serum and in the testing stages had some excellent results and feedback, with Lancome reporting that 2 out 3 women after using the product were so happy with the results and would dare to bare their skin and go out without wearing make up.

Dreamtone claims to correct the appearance of dark spots, uneven skin tone, and visibly corrects colour irregularities such as dullness, sallowness and blemish marks.  When I was given the sample I was told that this is a Skincare Product and you will see results after 4 weeks of use, but most people notice results after about a week.

The texture of Dreamtone felt slightly different to Dior Dreamskin as it didn't leave behind the same luxurious velvet finish and I didn't notice a radiant glow either.   I picked up the Dreamtone sample back in Feb and used it for a few days (and then forgot all about it until today.)

I think that Dior Dreamskin and Lancome Dreamtone are slightly different in that they both work, Dreamskin is a cosmetic product that  works on an immediate level, blurring imperfections (so is like a primer as well), while Lancome Dreamtone is a skincare product and delivers results over a period of time and with continued use.

The sample that I have is 5ml, I don't know how much is left, but I will use it everyday until it runs out and post back the results.

Lancome Dreamtone 40ml  is available from House of Fraser for £69
