Botox – The Icing on the Cake

Botox – The Icing On The Cake

Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons rank Botox as the number one non-surgical procedure on the market today, comprising nearly half of all injectable treatments. In addition, it’s known to be an unmatched solution for fine lines and wrinkles. At Embody Medspa, we continuously witness the transformative results Botox has on appearance and self-confidence.  But, don’t take our word for it, meet Angela Zaremba. This busy mother and business owner recently had Botox for the first time, and she was kind enough to share her story.

Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I am Angela Zaremba, founder, and designer of Luxa Jewelry, a handmade jewelry line established in 2010 that has grown into a full boutique located in Ipswich, MA. The backbone of my business is my handmade jewelry, but we also host other local makers in our space. We recently moved into a beautiful new location where we can focus more on production, events, and the expansion of our clothing section. I am the lucky mom of two of the funniest and lovable little kiddos. My son Nash is 6, and my daughter Hunter is 3. I have been married to the love of my life for ten years. On top of it all, we also have three rescue dogs.

Q: What made you consider Botox the first time?

I was thinking about Botox for about three years, and when I was 37, I finally did it! Raising kids and running a business is busy. Sometimes it is hard to carve out time for me, but I find everything goes smoother when I do. Botox was something I wanted to do, just for me, and I am so glad I did.

Q: What were you targeting?

My main concern was the lines between my eyebrows – frequently called the 11’s and my forehead wrinkles. I noticed over the years that these lines were causing me to look a little tired even when I was fully rested.

Q: What were your preconceived notions about Botox?

I was concerned about Botox before I got it. I did not want it to change my look entirely. I wanted to retain my natural expressions. I was worried it would be painful, and because I didn’t understand how it worked, I felt some anxiety.

Q: Why did you choose Embody MedSpa for your procedure?

I heard about Embody MedSpa last year from a few friends who had services there, and their results were stunning. So, I started following their social media journey, and I became convinced Embody was the right place for me.

Q: What was the experience like?

It was great! I was a little apprehensive about the whole process, having never done it before, but they made me feel comfortable right away. My experience at Embody was better than I could have imagined!

Q: Which team member did you see?

I saw Marcy, a registered nurse specializing in injectables.  She was so informative, not pushy at all, and helped ease my anxiety. Marcy listened to my goals and then suggested the Botox location based on that. She was deeply knowledgeable and helped me understand the degrees of movement I could expect.

Q: What was the room/vibe like?

The room was beautiful! Clean, calming, and spa-like. The treatment room was professional but also charming and comfortable.

Q: Did it hurt?

It didn’t hurt at all! That was the part that surprised me the most. Not only did it not hurt, but I did not experience any side effects!

Q: What do you think of the results?

I am so happy with the results. I wanted to retain enough movement to look 100% like myself, and I do, but I also look so refreshed. My favorite part is how it has lifted my eyebrows and brightened my eyes.

Q: Are you happy that you chose Embody MedSpa?

I am so happy I chose Embody MedSpa, and I will be going back. I lead a healthy lifestyle, I eat well, exercise, and try to get a lot of sleep, but this Botox experience has been the icing on the cake. Now I feel as good on the outside as I do on the inside!
