Top 5 DIY Fruit Masks

Tip #1 – Avocado

How to prepare the Hair Mask

Take a ripe avocado fruit and scoop the pulp and mash it into a very fine paste. Add a two tablespoons of coconut oil & 1 egg white and mix it thoroughly. Then apply the mask all over the hair and leave it for about an hour. Then rinse it off with cold water and use the regular shampoo and conditioner.

Tip #2 – Papaya

How to prepare the Face Mask

Take four to five medium size cubes and mash it well into a thick paste. Then add two tablespoons of milk & honey and apply the mask for instant glow to the skin. Leave the mask for 15 -20 minutes for best results. If you can find papaya in your local grocery store, don’t miss this mask. I have no luck in finding it in my supermarket.

Tip #3 – Strawberries

Have you ever used these little delicious berries as a beauty fix. Strawberries can be used to exfoliate the dead skin for instant clean, fresh and glowing skin.

How to prepare the Face Scrub

Simply cut the strawberries and grind & mix honey and grind it into a rough paste. Then rub them all over the face and leave it for 10 min and wash with warm water for the instant clean & clear skin.

Tip #4 – Banana

Banana is packed with lots of nutrients and minerals like vitamin A, B, E & Potassium. Bananas are considered to be the best cure for the anti-ageing skin. Here is a quick & easy beauty fix using banana.

How to prepare the Face Mask

Simply apply the ripe and well mashed banana directly on the face for 10 – 15 min for healthier skin. You can add lemon juice to act as a natural bleach, which removes any discoloration on the face to improve the skin tone.

Tip #5 – Oranges

How to prepare the Face Mask & Body scrub

Take the orange peel and dry them in the sun and grind it to a fine powder.

Take a couple of teaspoons of dry powder and mix it with milk and apply all over the face and leave it for 15-20 min for long-lasting healthy shine.

Orange peels can also be used as a body scrub, grind them very coarsely to use it as a body scrub.

If you lucky enough to get sunlight to dry these peels, then I recommend to dry & store it for future use. I miss this face mask & scrub, especially in the winter.
