If you accidentally left cow's milk out overnight in a sippy cup or a jug, I'll advise you throw it away. Formula milk can last longer in a closed cup or in a feeding bottle for up to 4 hours.
According to Babycenter.com, freshly expressed breast milk can last for 6-8 hours in a bottle at room temperature because it contains antibodies.
Reheated breast milk should be taken within an hour of warming it!.
If the milk looks bad, taste sour or has a bad smell then it is bad. Do not drink or feed to your baby or toddler. It can make them sick!.
How Long Can It Stay in the Fridge
When you purchase a bottle of whole milk or a carton, it comes with a label of the expiration date (this is when the milk is expected to spoil or go bad). Milk can last in the fridge once opened for about 7 days. If unopened, follow instructions according to the shelf life date specified the manufacturer.
Unopened milk that is traditionally pasteurised has a shelf life of 2-3 weeks and must be stored in the refrigerator.
Remember once opened, the milk will expire faster or quicker than an unopened milk. Ideally you should consume your milk within 1 week of opening and store it at a temperature of 40 degrees Fahrenheit or below to prevent bacteria or mould from growing or developing in it.

So you went to do your groceries but you left them in the car, including your bottle of fresh unopened milk. According to the US Drug and Food Administration Agency, perishable foods should not be left unfrigerated for more than 2 hours.
Especially if the weather outside is hot, you are advise not to drink it. If the weather is cool or cold and it is less than 3 hours unfrigerated you can drink it.
