We all have that favourite colour that we simply love to wear and I for one have quite a few but the one colour that always makes me happy and cheerful is yellow! Just by looking at it I feel optimistic and ready for the day ahead, so as soon as I saw this Shirt Dress on Boden's website, I knew I had to have it to wear this summer.
The rhoda trim jersey Shirt dress (£65) from Boden comes in two prints and the plain tuscan sun colour that I chose. With a pombraid trim, collar and buttoned front, it has a cute fit-and-flare style which is super flattering and super stretchy to fit to your body shape.
Plus it comes in petite, regular or long which is something I love about Boden as not many brands create petite clothing these days. For me the Yellow Shirt Dress falls just in line with my knees.
You can wear the shirt dress with or without its belt and it's crafted from pure cotton for a supersoft feel. I styled it with the belt along with the perfect summer accessories - mariana embroidered flamingo clutch (£45) and fleur espadrilles (£70) in tan. You could also wear it to work with smart flats and a cardigan.
