'Tis the season to get festive! (cc. gs stores / rod and roy)

‘Tis the season to get festive. Once again, I have teamed up with none other than the GS store team in order to bring you all a variety of outfits to wear during the holidays. As the season approaches, the critical task of choosing the perfect everyday Outfit as well as for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve can become quite challenging. Therefore, I have selected simple, easy yet elegant outfits and accessories that will further elevate any outfit of your likings.

Easy and simple:

This first outfit is for the girls who like to keep things simple, yet show a hint of festivity without feeling like too much. This jumper from GS comes with a giant pocket in holiday print. To keep the simplicity, pair with back skinny jeans, black boots and à statement bag as shown in the pictures below. As for accessories, I decided to add on long detailed pearl necklace (as pearls are the definition of elegance) that can elevate any outfit. Later on, I added a stylish par of PUMA Fenty by Rihanna, providing a warm and cozy element when at home (or if you are feeling daring outside of the house; provided you leave in à warm weather or else your toes are going to freeze)

Top: Dixie
Jeans: Bardot
Later on, I decided to pair up the outfit with à long black skirt with pleats. Once again, although you are wearing a statement piece, you remain in the easy and simple category whilst remaining stylish and cozy.

Another Easy and simple outfit that I have put together consist of silver shinny pants with silver knitted sweater (who say’s fashion cannot be comfortable as well as fashionable? huh?) And once again, those fluffy slippers came through with their quirkiness ;)

Knitted top: GLAMOROUS
Jeans: GLAMOROUS

The second outfit is yet again simple, however versatile as it is appropriate for any event. Additionally, it will keep you very warm during the freezing weather. It is no secret that bomber jackets have become one of the new staples into a woman’s wardrobe. However, instead of opting for your regular black bomber jacket, elevate it with a festive burgundy color as shown below. To provide that warm element, I paired the outfit with a cream knitted sweater, paired with a khaki print leather skirt. All three colors blend nicely together to create a balance within the outfit. Moreover, do not forget to put your warm cozy tights on along with your favorite pair of high heels. Once again, I wore a pearl necklace to give that oomph to the outfit and added a clutch with a beautiful broche.

Bomber jacket: JOA
Skirt: JOA
Knitted top: GLAMOROUS
PS: If you feel that the outfit is too dressed up for your personal taste or would like to tone it down on a daily basis, switch your high heels to a cute pair of high heeled boots, or flat boots and replace your clutch with a tote or backpack of your choice.

Stylish:

This one is for my fashion addicts! Keeping it with the theme of the khaki leather skirt (Yes! there is nothing wrong with recycling your outfits. If Kate Middleton can do it so can you!). I found this great leather peplum top with cleavage (for those of you who are daring!) Alongside black tights and heels, it provides a string yet lean figure that is suitable for every body type. As for accessories, I decided not to wear any however, you could easily add a pair of statement earrings or necklaces. Furthermore, I re-used my embellished clutch.

Skirt: JOA
Top: IMPERIAL
Elegant:

The last outfit is the perfect New Year’s Eve party dress! Through a statistical research, red has shown to be the color which attracts the most attention to one’s eyes (If you love being the center of attention, then this outfit is perfect for you) Now I understand that this might not be everyone cup of tea as it could be deemed as quite revealing. However, it does revealing with class and elegance. Once again, I turned to my trusted black embellished clutch and high heels. Moreover, I added a navy blazer that goes along with the dress and changes up a bit from your classic black coat.
Dress: Cq by Cq
Blue blazer: Maison Brown
