“With nature and all its inspiration at heart, I designed this collection of jewels reminiscent of dew drops at dawn, the sun, the rains, and even the crescent moon for the dreamer, the wanderer, and the traveller. It is my sketch of ‘The Label Woman’. While always having fun, I kept it classy and elegant. The ornaments can be juxtaposed both with ethnic and western wear. Why should jewellery be compatible with only one look?” says Pittie.

In a candid conversation, the designer tells us about her inspiration, what’s she’s dreaming of and her signature style.
1. If you had to pick only one accessory to wear, what would it be?
A gorgeous necklace!
2. What are you reading at the moment?
Music of the Spinning Wheel- Mahatma Gandhi’s Manifesto for the Internet Age. I am a voracious reader. I am a huge fan of the Economic Times and Time magazine and always have the latest issues on my bedside.
3. Which living/dead person do you admire the most? Why?
Warren Buffet, Bono, Jeff Bezos, Taylor Swift, Oprah Winfrey, Christine Lagarde, and J.K.Rowling. My list is endless.
4. Where would you most like to be right now?
Exactly where I am – in the factory, unless Hogwarts comes calling. Gryffindor only!
5. Your daily beauty routine?
Three litres of water and a game of soccer, whenever possible.
6. What is your guiltiest pleasure?
Taking 10 mins off in the thick of work and reading another chapter of Harry Potter, again!
7. Sun or Moon?
The entire galaxy
8. What is your signature style?
Unapologetic and individualistic. Conformist in a non conformist way!
