Travel Guide: Magnolia Market & Waco

Over spring break I was lucky enough to get to visit their Shop, Magnolia Market. It was such a wonderful experience and I would love to share my tips with visiting the Silos and Waco.
I would recommend going early in the morning before the lines are super long. I have heard that people have had to wait for an hour or more to even get into the store. We went right when it opened at 9am. and while it was crowded inside, we did not have to wait in line at all and had no trouble going in. If there is a line when you arrive, there are tons of food trucks and activities outside of the shop that you can take turns enjoying, while someone in your group holds your spot in line. Also, parking can be a nightmare so just keep driving around and park at the first legal spot on the street that you can find!

After you've finished shopping and experiencing Magnolia, there are a few other places in Waco you can visit.
Eat:
Cafe Homestead - we ate lunch here and it was fabulous! It is a farm to table restaurant and the sandwiches are amazing. We also got a slice of pie that was delicious and several people got their homemade ice cream and loved it as well. There was about a 20-30 minute wait but they also have some Cute little shops you can walk around.
George's - great food and known for the huge beer!
Brazos Bar and Bistro
Health Camp - they have unique milkshakes that are delicious! I got a s'mores one and loved it!
Schmaltz's - sandwiches
Viteks - BBQ
Jake's - homestyle food
Common Grounds - great local coffee shop, there is also a Common Grounds truck at the Silos

Shop:
Harp Design Co. - if you watch fixer upper this is Clint Harper's store and has some beautiful woodwork pieces
Spice Village
Downtown Farmer's Market - Saturday mornings
Spice Village - cute indoor market with a lot of stuff
La Salle Shoppes - antiques
Junque in the Trunk

The Findery
Restoration Crown
there were also 2-3 cute home decor shops right across the street from Magnolia Market that I can't remember the names of so look for those. You'll probably see others walking over there from the Market
