Vintage Shoes – Step out in Style
There are so many shoe brands and website nowadays selling everything from trainers to 5 inch stilettoes and everything in-between. But for that stylish and timless look you just simply have to turn to the wonder of vintage shoes.
Here at My Vintage, we have a real array of vintage shoes in many different styles, colours and sizes. Ranging from the 1050’s to the early 1990’s, we have some really special finds and at great affordable prices to boot.
I’ve picked out 5 of my current favourites from our vast stock range and here is the low-down. Please note, these are all available at the time this blog is published, but later may of course sell and become unavailable.
First up, I simply adore the colour way of these vintage 1960s Van Dal shoes. The sage green is contrasted beautifully by the mid to pale grey and the shoes have that squared toe that is very typical of the era. The heel is modest and chunky, making these perfectly comfortable for work.
Next, I have chosen this glorious pair of purple leather mules from the infamous Versace. The square toe and buckle give a smart formal look and the cutaway back and block heel are more casual, making these a great pair of vintage shoes to wear in the daytime or the evening.
I’ve also picked out this adorable pair of white mules from the late 80s/early 90s. They are cute and blocky, with a rounded cut to the uppers and a nice high chunky heel. These definitely hark back to the days of the Spice Girls and would look awesome with a jumpsuit or cute 90s dress for a night out whilst still being pretty comfortable. Absolute girl power!
Next up, I simply had to include these classic navy blue heeled slingbacks with cute peep toe. This delightful pair of vintage shoes would be perfect with your vintage and retro dresses in tones of pink, grey and red. Just paint your toenails to match your frock and you have an instant outfit that’s oozing with style and coordination!
And finally, to round up my selection of vintage shoes, I have chosen this pair of stunning designer sandals from Fendi. I simply love the strappy style and the signature Fendi design to both the uppers and the chunky heels. These would be incredibly comfortable and again could be worn casually with a little dress during the day or with something more glamorous in the evening.
That concludes my little selection of vintage shoes for this blog post, but we do have lots more on our website here… https://www.myvintage.co.uk/vintage-shoes-53-c.asp
