Louis Vuitton Resort 2017 Highlights

Tags: love favourite

I have to admit that Louis Vuitton is not my absolute Favourite brand, but their 2017 Resort collection was actually pretty amazing. Nicolas Ghesquiere did a great job choosing colours and textures for this collection so I thought I would choose a few of my favourite looks from the show.

First of all I have to talk about the location of the show because oh my god it is beautiful. The Niterói Contemporary Art Museum was the perfect location for this show and I Love how the whole area was used as a massive runway.

I'm going to start with my favourite outfit of the entire show. I love the mix the textures and the floral pattern is beautiful. I'm usually not one for silver, especially when it comes to clothes, but somehow it just really works and I love it?

Oh my god this jacket/dress suede/leather thing. I need it. I don't know what else to say honestly. I'm just so good at reviews wow.

It's not secret I love stripes so obviously this one is included in my highlights. I'm still not sure whether I love or hate the leather top though...

My favourite thing about this look is definitely the colours. Red, as I've said many many times, is one of my favourite colours and I will probably be dreaming about this jacket for a while. The mustard scarf is also amazing.

I love the shape of this dress (which also came in a blue colour) and the leather panels. The bag is also so cool and is colourful without being  too over the top and obnoxious. These shoes were also my favourite in the whole collection.

Honestly the skinny scarfs might be my favourite thing about this whole collection. And again, silver? I don't know why but I'm just loving it here.

Ruffles have been a major trend the past few seasons. I love that they decided to play on the trend but go with a more structured fabric. I also love this bright, true blue colour and the interesting shape of the dress. It also came in a silver colour, but my favourite was definitely the blue.

I never thought I would be saying that I love these track pants with a massive slit on the side, paired with a cropped leather, ruffled top. The black and red give me gothic vibes but the yellow purse definitely breaks that up.
