Skincare Routine

My Skin has always been a pain in the ass. Since I was about 12, I've had acne and dry patches all over my face, so that is what I've mostly been trying to tackle when it comes to my skincare routine. I not only need to treat my acne, but I also need to make sure my skin is moisturised so I don't get super bad dry patches, and make my acne worse.
I've found a few products that work fine, but I'm still trying new things out so I can find my holy grail skincare products that I'm yet to discover.

Step one is to remove my makeup, which I usually do by either using makeup wipes, or organic coconut oil. I always take my makeup off, and always double cleanse if I wear makeup to make sure my skin is completely clean of any makeup, dirt and other nasty things lurking on the surface.

After my makeup is gone, I cleanse my face in the shower with this Body Shop Tea Tree Facial Wash (1). I love tea tree products, and this is a great cleanser that foams up really nicely (I hate cleansers that don't foam up). It leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean, but it does dry up my skin a tiny bit (which usually comes with most acne cleansers, though this one doesn't leave my skin feeling completely stripped of any moisture).

I switch between two toners, the Body Shop Tea Tree Toner (2), and the Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner (3) which I recently purchased. For mornings I go with the tea tree one, as it leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean and ready for moisturisers and then makeup. Like the tea tree cleanser, it leaves my skin feeling a little dry, but with moisturiser it is completely fine.
I've only been using the Mario Badescu toner for a week or so at night, so I don't have much to say yet but it seems to be working well in regards to gently exfoliating (which I really need....again, dry patches. Also I have really really bad acne scars which I'm hoping this will eventually help with!)

The moisturiser I LOVE is the Sukin Facial Moisturiser (4) (also the sensitive version is amazing as well if you have more sensitive skin). It has natural ingredients, and does a great job at keeping my skin moisturised. The only downside is that it doesn't have SPF in it, so I need to find a good sunscreen for my face that doesn't break me out, otherwise, this is the moisturiser I'll be sticking with for a long time.

I'm yet to find any serums facial oils that are both cruelty free and affordable (recommendations as always would be amazing) but I am searching and hoping to add one to my routine.

Sometimes I do give myself a facial massage with this little tool (5) I bought on eBay by covering my face in coconut oil and following this tutorial by Wengie, who introduced me to facial massage! I also sometimes put tea tree oil (6) on blemishes if they are super major and super red. As tea tree tends to dry my skin out, I don't like constantly applying it to everywhere I get blemishes (because that is basically my entire face), so I leave it for the really horrible ones.

And that is currently all I'm doing for my skincare! I would love to hear any recommendations of products you love that work well for any problem I'm currently facing with my skin.
