Lemaire Spring 2017 Ready-To-Wear Highlights

Lemaire definitely isn't know for their use of Colour, but when comparing this Collection to their last, you could almost describe it as colourful. Pops of bright yellow and red brought some life into the collection and surprisingly, there weren't many all black looks.

This was one of the less colourful looks, but I still Love it. It's very simple, but the oversized style is cool and gives it a 'street style' vibe. I also want to say that I absolutely love those shoes. The shape of the heel is so cool (though probably hard to walk in) and I'm glad the plastic texture has some colour to it, rather than being completely clear.

The pants were definitely a highlight in the collection. I particularly love the colour of these and how they contrast to the dark top, which I also love. The shape of it is different and the sleeves look like they've been cut which is cool. I also wanted to mention the earrings, because they're beautiful and something I would totally wear myself. They're a very simple, statement pair.

The off the shoulder silhouette has been on trend for a while now, so I'm sure others will also love this piece. Not only is the colour beautiful, but the structure of it, with the kind of ruching at the front, is different and new. Again, the pants are amazing.

A pop of colour! I adore that yellow bag and wish I could have it in my collection. It would add some fun and brightness to any outfit, including this one that is otherwise super neutral and plain. Don't get me wrong, I still love the dress. It's floaty and beautiful and I'm assuming the vest with the zip is separate but it looks like it could be another layer of the dress.

I love the layering going on in this look, especially because it adds texture. Throwing a more structured top over a lighter coloured flowy, crinkled one gives such a cool and interesting look. I probably don't need to say it, but love the pants.

Though one of the most basic looks in the show, this was one of my favourites. It's just a really classic look and I'm in love with both the high waisted, wide leg pants and the shirt. There isn't really much to say about it but for some reason I was so drawn to it so I had to include it.

The ruffle that goes across just under the hip gives the dress an interesting shape and kind of gives the illusion of an elongated body. It's a really beautiful piece and though it's very simple, the super low waist makes it different.

There is a lot of layers going on here, but they work really well together. I especially love love love the cami style top/dress and how the black pattern ties in with the black pants that peep along the bottom of the tiered layers of the dress.

This was definitely the boldest look in terms of colour, but it's still quite simple and clean looking.  The maxi, crinkled dress flows over the body nicely and I love the layering of the pants underneath. Of course, because it's red, I love it even more.

There was a great balance of light elements and more heavy, structured elements in this collection and I loved that. I particularly loved the styling and laying of the pieces which was done perfectly, basically I loved this collection and the pieces and I'm going to stop rambling now.
