Products I’ve Used Up/ Empties #20

Can you believe that I’ve done twenty of these posts (probably more if I’m honest) but I can’t help it, I personally find these to be very helpful as you can see which products people truly loved and if they’d reinvest their money into getting them again. I’ve been letting these build up for a while now so I’m going to get right into it.

Bodycare
Body Shop Glazed Apple Shower Gel
This smelled really lovely however, I did have issues with this lathering up, I think that this was because it actually solidified into a jelly due to the cold. Sadly these aren’t as moisturising as shower gels from Lush but I’d use this again just maybe not repurchase.
Repurchase? Probably not.

Soft and Gentle Vanilla and Wild Rose Petals Deodorant
My go-to deodorant as it smells great and is the only deodorant that doesn’t irritate my under arms, I really love the smell and formula of this.
Repurchase? Already have.

Makeup
La Roche Posay Unifiant
I really loved this, a skincare/makeup hybrid this is the same as the Effaclar Duo working to unclog pores and treat blemishes except this tints the skin and provides a wonderful base to the skin.
Repurchase? Yes.

Illamasqua Hydra Veil Primer
It is expensive but I really like this primer. It’s a gel hydrator that just melts into the skin, the only thing that puts me off from this is the price point as thirty quid is quite expensive, I would use this again but I do think that I’ve find my holy grail elsewhere.
Repurchase? Possibly.

Maybelline Baby Lips Pink Punch Lip Balm
I really like these lip balms but I don’t think that this particular shade suited me as it was very blue toned and barbie-esque. Although I probably wouldn’t choose this shade, I did like the scent and the formula of these always impresses me.
Repurchase? A different shade.

Benefit Rollerlash Mascara Mini:
A lot of people really rave about this product but I have to say I wasn’t too impressed with this. As this dries out it does get a lot better but for me at the beginning is was very wet and it ended up transferring.
Repurchase? No.

Body Shop Born Lippy Passionfruit:
I love these lip balms and this scent is lovely, I have repurchased this before and would use it again but I’ve recently discovered the Raspberry test which I prefer.
Repurchase? Possibly another scent.

Kiko Crystal Eyeliner in Advanced Grass:
I was disappointed with this, it was veyr hard and didn’t work on the waterline. I didn’t end up finishing up this as I lost the lid and it dried out but I wouldn’t repurchase.
Repurchase? No.

Haircare
Garnier Ultimate Blends The Strength Restorer Shampoo:
I do like this range but I’ve recently switched over to Head and Shoulders as it works so much better for my for my scalp. I would use this again but not at the moment.
Repurchase? Possibly.

Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo:
I do love the range and I have used this before but I was disappointed this time round, for some reason the product didn’t come out very well and I’d use a lot of this and see no difference, I’d switch to a different scent next time.
Repurchase? No.

Skincare
Eve Taylor Pre Cleanse:
I didn’t get on with this it felt quite oily on the skin and I didn’t feel that it hydrated me it ended up stripping my skin so I wouldn’t repurchase.
Repurchase? No.

Eve Taylor Balancing Cleanser
This didn’t emulsify and ended up just smearing around my face, it didn’t end up balancing my skin or even cleansing it effectively.
Repurchase? No.

Eve Taylor Moisturising Solar Shield:
Again another product that didn’t impress me this was very thick and din’t sink into my skin correctly.
Repurchase? No.

Eve Taylor Cucumber and Lettuce Soothing Cleanser:
This was’t bad but it just didn’t impress me enough to make me want to repurchase, I’ve found other products that work so much better.
Repurchase? No.

Eve Taylor Soothing Eye and Makeup Remover:
I really disliked this, it irritated my skin, smelled very strongly of alcohol and ultimately left me with a burn on my eye I wouldn’t repurchase this.
Repurchase? No.

Eve Taylor Hyaluronic Acid:
This wasn’t a terrible product but again is just failed to stand out to me, Hyaluronic acid is something that I’m keen to keep trying but this didn’t stand out.
Repurchase? No.

Eve Taylor Soothing Aromatic Serum:
This smelled awful I ended up having to take this off of my skin because it left such a horrible scent, it also failed to keep my skin hydrated.
Repurchase? No.

Eve Taylor Soothing Moisture Cream:
Another product that didn’t sink into the skin but ended up just smearing around my skin, again I didn’t like this.
Repurchase? No.

Eve Taylor Balancing Moisture Lotion:
With this I had the same issues as I did with other products in this range in the fact that it was hard to get this to sink into my skin and ultimately hydrate it.
Repurchase? No.

That concludes this post, if you enjoyed it please hit the like button and let me know in the comments if you have tried any of these products and if you like Empties posts.
