Hey girls! So I just recently started getting my Ipsy subscription and I have to say that my first two bags have been really great! I’ve been getting great products and I’m surprised at how big of a sample they all are! Here’s what I got this month!

Highlight Trio by City Color 

Retail: $8.99

First Impression: I Love the colors (especially the gold) and they have really good pigmentation especially for such a low price point. It is made in China (I know that may be a deal breaker for many of you).

Moroccanoil Treatment 

Retail: $15-$44

First Impression:I’ve used this product before and I’m a huge Moroccanoil fan! It works great to repair my damaged hair and I love the smell too.

Starlooks “Jet” Luxe Longwear Eye Pencil 

Retail: $16

First Impression: I’m definitely more of a Liquid eyeliner fan but this applies really smoothly and lasts pretty well. Not my favorite but definitely a good product and worth the money.

C427 – TAPERED DUO FIBER BLUSH by Crown Brush

Retail: $10

First Impression: The bristles aren’t super soft. Personally for the money you’re paying I think it could be higher quality. I could see it being used for liquid foundations and BB creams but its too rough for powders, I prefer e.l.f brushes over this, they are cheaper and softer.

Tarte LipSurgence Lip Creme

Retail: $24

First Impression: I’m definitely more of a gloss person or liquid lipstick so this isn’t something I would buy on my own but it reminds me a lot of the Revlon Colorburst Balm Stains. I didn’t love the smell (it smelled a little like Burts Bees) and it tingled too much on my lips. It did however stain and stay on pretty well.
