I had a little trip to Germany recently, to visit one of the biggest green Beauty exhibitions in Europe with my blogger friend Kriszta Kertesz. Vivaness takes place in Nürnberg, and it showcases most of the well known and upcoming organic and natural beauty brands. They were crazy busy 2 days that we’ve spent there exploring all that the exhibitors could show, and based on my impressions now I collected the Top 5 Vivaness 2018 Novelties just for you.

Whamisa Peeling Mitts

Korean skincare was always something very exciting for me, but the fact that it’s generally “not so green” kept me away from trying it. BUT then I’ve met with the brand Whamisa, which is korean and organic at the same time, and has all kind of wonderful products that green beauty bloggers are singing praises about. But now let’s focus their new and super unique exfoliator the Peeling Mitt that’s available in 3 different versions for different Skin types; pore care, sebum care and moisture care. This little finger mitt takes exfoliation to a whole new level, its fabrics is super soft and the texture of the formula is very gentle, yet super effective. They are also available as samples, so you can try them out and find your favourite and the one that suits your skin type the best, before purchasing the full size item.

MADARA City CC Anti-Pollution Cream With SPF 15

I had the luck to try my favourite organic skincare brands new launch the City CC cream that’s like a luxurious colour correcting moisturizer. It has a wonderful light texture, yet it gives nice coverage and a balanced, evened out finish. “Scientifically proven to shield your skin from urban pollutants to protect skin microbiome, prevent clogged pores and inflammation.” It’s available in two shades, one for the very light (pale, fair) skin and one for the darker complexions. If you ask me, I’d say this is pretty much the MUST HAVE product of spring 2018.

Dr Bronner’s Bio Magic Balm

You all know how much I love Dr Bronner’s products, and here is a new one to add to my collection. This multitasking little balm is a must have in all Mommies (and non-Mommies) handbag. “With a special formulation of deep-acting avocado, coconut, jojoba, hemp and olive oils, as well as organic beeswax, it provides soothing and intensively nourishing moisture in every situation.” It’s great for dry hands, chapped lips, for your cheeks in the cold, but cares even for the little ones bum as well. And it’s completely fragrance free, so great for even the most sensitive skin & nose too.

BioBrush Toothbrushes

One of the most interesting exploration during the exhibition was this little toothbrush. I found it at the Vivaness Novelties stand and I was not really ok with the fact that something “plastic” was featured there so I went to the booth of BioBrush Berlin to clarify what exactly these brushes are made of. It turned out that the plastic looking handle is actually made out of wood scraps that’s turned into bioplastic which is biodegradable. The awesome part is that except the bristles (still made out of nylon) the handle and also the packaging are both biodegradable. Actually we were surprised by the info that if you throw this plastic looking packaging into your compost heap at home it will be gone in just a couple of weeks. (I’m actually going to do it, so I’ll tell you the truth about how well it really works)

Acorelle Stick Gel Deodorant

Great news for those who are having ultra sensitive underarms! As you know, I myself were on the hunt for a good natural deodorant for ages, and during my search I’ve met good deodorants but Sodium Bicarbonate sooner or later started to bother my “pits”. Acorelle already has two great deo lines, one in a roll-on format and one with SB. and in a stick shape and this May they are expanding their range. They developed a new ultra-innovative gel formula with magnesium hydroxide and silver, (so no sodium bicarbonate in it) that fights the bacteria responsible for body odour and an absorbent plant-based powder (corn starch) that reduces the feeling of wetness. It will be available in 4 variations; spicy wood (great for men), neroli flower, heart of jasmine and fragrance free (for the most sensitive skin).
