Desigual is mostly recognized for its colorful and rounded patterns. However, this season things are not the same for its new collection. AW16 is loaded with innovation. It’s got the new materials – soft velvet, mohair, french jacquard and more. It’s got the reinvented shapes – designed to suit every figure. Hence, it’s got prints from all over the world – mosaics from Istanbul, flowers from Japan, golden tones from India… It is a whole new thing, yet still giving note to the signature style of the Spanish brand.

The dress I’m wearing here is part of Desigual’s AW16 Collection and has driven its inspiration from Istanbul’s mosaics. It features deep royal hues and goes perfectly with this chic Trussardi Bag. To add an extra dose of modernity, I inserted a pair of reflective sunglasses. The combination of traditions and culture (the pattern) and the modern reflections makes it all appear very fashion-forward. A nice balance perfect for the city chic.
