I was kinda #stressed the day these pictures were taken....

I was kinda #stressed the day these pictures were taken. Kristopher and I visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium where people are always forgetting to TURN THEIR Flash OFF when taking pictures of the octopus!!! I appointed myself Flash Police for a few minutes while I stood inside the Tentacles exhibit. I feel like it would be wise for the MBA to hang larger No Flash signs, in various languages, around the entire aquarium.

This is coming from a person who has a uniform to visit Monterey: a magnificent bright pink Squid slip dress (print designed by Caroline J. Dale) from Print All Over Me. Always paired with tentacle earrings from Etsy (that I had custom designed to mimic the colors of Pacific octopus). SQUID ARE MY FAVORITE ANIMALS. I wanted to study marine biology at one point in my life so I could eventually research squid in a lab (and more specifically, deep sea squid; that was the goal). Obviously, that didn’t work out. I’m designing pants instead (and loving it).

All the pink is paired with a black hooded knit cardigan I bought at Shibuya 109 during my trip to Tokyo last year. Boots are from Dr. Martens. Glasses are from Moscot. Honestly, you should be focusing on that dress right now. Is it not the most amazing article of clothing you’ve ever seen in your life?

I love squid so much.

Actually, I just remember that I wore almost the same exact outfit on the day of my runway show this past March. Which you can view in all its embarrassing glory right here (not that my models were embarrassing, they were brilliant and perfect - I WAS EMBARRASSED TO WALK DOWN THE RUNWAY!!! No me gusta, I am never doing that again ever in my life, I was literally disassociating but at least I looked cute doing it!!! I h8 attention.).

Also, I drew that eye logo myself and it is copyrighted.
